System Requirements

HeuristicLab is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. In order to be able to run HeuristicLab properly, you have to downland and install the following software package:

Stable Branch Binaries and Sources

We additionally provide source code archives and daily builds from the HL stable branch. This branch is a staging area for already finished and tested features and bug fixes which will be shipped with the next HeuristicLab release. There are some plugins which are developed inside the branches and are currently not part of HeuristicLab.

Installation / Upgrade

HeuristicLab does not contain a setup and does not have to be installed. After extracting the HeuristicLab ZIP archive from this page, double click on the file HeuristicLab 3.3.exe to start.

Please note that it is recommended to check for and install new updates regularly, as the development of HeuristicLab is an ongoing and active process.
