Description
The selection operators as they are designed to work currently do not easily permit a combination of them such that e.g. sexual selection can be realized. If one selection operator is applied the scope-subscopes structure is transformed into one of scope-(remaining/selected)-subscopes structure. Subsequent application of selection is not aware of such an existing structure and will attempt to create it anew.
Additionally, applying selection incrementally 1-by-1, selecting a single individual at a time e.g. randomly and proportionally might result in modeling a loop which needs several more operators to work.

The predefined GP engines use gender-specific selection which is implemented with already available built in operators.
